Superga continues UK expansion

Italian footwear brand Superga has opened its fourth London store on Commercial Road in Spitalfields. The brand

has been steadily expanding across the city and the Spitalfields store joins its locations in Camden, Covent Garden, and its flagship on Carnaby Street.

The design of the Commercial Road store reflects the “simple and minimalistic style” of the footwear brand with the use of scaffolding shelving units to give the space a more industrial feel, devoting primary focus to the extensive variety of colours, fabrics and prints in the collection. The store is the Italian brands second largest in the London and carries men’s, women’s and children’s footwear lines.

In a short statement, Superga stated that the new store was part of the brand’s strategy to “boost the brand’s growing presence in the UK” as it looks to establish itself as a “key player” in the UK footwear market.

Additionally, Superga also announced that it is set to collaborate with Versace’s Versus on a new collection of shoes, labelled Superga x Versus Versace. The collection will see the classic Superga 2750 style be transformed by one of the key motifs from Versus’ autumn/winter collection. The pieces will be available later this month in select Versace’s Versus boutiques, Superga stores and online at their respective websites.
