SuperGroup obtains Scandinavian Distributor

Apparel retailer SuperGroup revealed on Friday that it had acquired its Scandinavian distributor, known as SMAC Group, for an

undisclosed sum.

SuperGroup now controls the rights to trade the Superdry brands in Denmark, Norway and Finland. The purchase also allows the group the chance to invest it own capital in a store roll-out, increase margins on wholesale operations and take on local operational and management expertise.

"Our Pan-European strategy is progressing well and we will provide an update on developments at the time of our prelims on July 10," said Julian Dunkerton, CEO of SuperGroup in a press statement.
