Swarovski Collective SS13 opens

Luxury crystal company Swarovski, is now accepting applications for its Spring/Summer 2013

sponsorship programme, Swarovski Collective, which is open to both established and emerging designers.

The programme, which was created more than a decade ago after a special collaboration with designer Alexander McQueen, is open to designers from all four international fashion weeks, London, New York, Milan and Paris, and the initiative invites the designers to show how they plan on integrating Swarovski Elements into their forthcoming collections.

Designers involved in the current autumn/winter 2012 programme including Rodarte, Jason Wu, Giles, Erdem and Mary Katrantzou, who showcased both here in London and in New York. Alums of the Collective from previous years include Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler, Christopher Kane, Viktor & Rolf, Jean Paul Gaultier, Philip Treacy, and Givenchy.

Applications are due on May 25 and designers need to include a spring/summer 2013 business plan as well as evidence of showing at one of the four aforementioned fashion weeks.
