Swarovski is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its creative platform, the Swarovski Collective, this year with an enhanced program

that will offer a year-long financial and promotional support as well offering the successful designers the chance to win a new 25,000 euro prize for innovation.

The move is part of the brand’s commitment to celebrating and nurturing both new and established fashion designers and will see the creative talents selected for the Swarovski Collective supported for a full year for Spring/Summer 2015 and
Autumn/Winter 2015.

All members of the collective will be eligible for the Swarovski Collective Prize for Innovation, which will be awarded to the designer who demonstrates the most “innovative and creative use of crystal across their two collections”.

Nadja Swarovski, member of the Swarovski Executive Board, said: “Over the past 15 years, we have been honoured to work with some of the most innovative design talents of the 21st century as part of the Swarovski Collective.

“We are thrilled to be able to celebrate this anniversary by evolving our program to ensure our creative partners have the resources they require to experiment, innovate and reach their maximum potential in their craft.”

During the past 15 years, the Swarovski Collective has supported over 150 designers including Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Erdem, Giles, Mary Katrantzou, Proenza Schouler, Jason Wu, Wes Gordon, Rodarte, Alexander Wang, Hussein Chalayan, and Viktor & Rolf.

Designers interested in joining the Swarovski Collective have until May 26, 2014 to submit their application.
