Former magazine editor Taylor Tomasi Hill has announced that

she has left her role as creative director of luxury online retailer Moda Operandi after two years in the position.

Known for her eclectic style, the street style favourite sent out an e-mail last week revealing her exit: “After two years with Moda Operandi the time has come to move forward with the next chapter,” reports The Cut.

With her adding: “Building the MO brand over the past 2 years was a rewarding progression from the editorial world. I look forward to parlaying this experience into the next chapter.”

The reason for her departure remains unconfirmed, but according to WWD, there may have been tension between her and site’s founder Lauren Santo Domingo who allegedly offered her equity in the company, though it didn’t materialise after the company’s board rejected the proposal.

Prior to joining the luxury online retailer, Tomasi Hill was the style and accessories editor at US Marie Claire, and before that accessories director at Teen Vogue.
