London Fashion Week label Temperley London is merging its diffusion line, Alice by Temperley, into its mainline
collection to provide a “consistent offering” under one brand name.Alice by Temperley, which launched for Spring/Summer 2010 to expand the brand’s client base to a younger audience, will stay in stores until Autumn/Winter 2014 before becoming part of the mainline.
By integrating the contemporary label into the Temperley London line the brand will offer a full collection from daywear to evening looks and will utilise a “commercial price pyramid” from entry price to more expensive looks.
"It makes sense to provide a consistent offering under one brand, Temperley London," Temperley told Vogue. "This is the core of our business and where our voice lies - beautiful clothes, fine attention to detail, novel and luxurious fabrics and sourcing."
The label will produce four collections a year, as well as additional capsule lines under the Temperley London brand, while Temperley Bridal collections will continue as usual.
