Supermarket giant Tesco has opened its first F&F clothing store

in Saudi Arabia. The store in Haifa Mall in Jeddah is the first of the F&F franchise stores announced by Tesco earlier this year. Working with local retailer, Fawaz Abdulaziz Al Hokair & Co, the store will sell clothing based on the core European F&F collection.

The move supports Tesco’s long-term strategy to grow its international brands. Tesco said the franchising model will enable it to accelerate growth of the F&F brand on a wider scale. Now trading in 12 markets, F&F has become a leading fashion brand in Central Europe and has recently launched its third stand alone F&F store in Warsaw, Poland. Tesco said the standalone stores have been a vehicle for testing and refining ideas for the new franchise format.

Jason Tarry, CEO of F&F International said: "We are delighted that our first franchise store has opened in Jeddah. The initial reaction from customers has been very positive, and we are looking forward to opening more stores in the region over the coming months."
