Textile Federation teams up with London Fashion Weekend

Textile Federation, a community dedicated to supporting emerging

contemporary textile print designers, has announced a collaborative initiative with London Fashion Weekend which is set to run from February 20 to 23.

For their collaboration London Fashion Weekend, which aims to bring fashion to the masses in a more approachable way, and the Textile Federation have launched a new competition inviting members of the public to design an unique and exclusive T-shirt print.

The competition is open to anyone in London and aims to encourage the public to think creatively about the city, how it inspires them and what they love about the city and translate it into a T-shirt print.

The two winning designs will be selected by the Textile Federation in-house team, alongside a special guest judge from the British Fashion Council. The winners will receive 300 pounds for their design and their designs will be sold exclusively at the Textile Federation showroom during London Fashion Weekend.

Entry to the competition is open from January 6 to January 19 and applicants can submit their designs via textilefederation.com or via Textile's Federation facebook page.
