Fabric buyers are confident about business for 2011. According to a survey by fabric

fair Textile Forum among visitors 85% were positive going in to 2011. Textile Forum is taking place at the Music Room from 9-10th March in London.

During Textile Forum buyers will be able to choose of fabrics from over 30 collections. For March, the fabric exhibition is expanding with three new exhibitors: Abraham Moon & Sons, woollens; African Queen Fabrics, vibrant West African designs; and Graham Smith Fabrics, colour coordinated woven dress fabrics. The March show will also see the return of Acorn Fabrics, the shirting specialists. To buy fabrics from stock is a key factor to visit Textile Forum.

According to Amir Safat, owner African Queen Fabrics, “We feel the time is right, both from a fashion and economic perspective, to sell to the UK designer market and Textile Forum provides an excellent platform.”


Textile Forum is aimed at designers, small to medium sized manufacturers, dressmakers and retail fabric specialists looking for high quality fashion fabrics from UK and European mills. Exhibitors all offer small minimums and many also have stock and short order fabrics as well as collections for forward order.
