Textile Forum, London’s fabric sourcing event for leading
fashion retailers as well as independents designers, specialising in menswear, womenswear, bridalwear and lingerie, has recorded its highest visitor numbers for a spring show since the exhibition was launched in autumn 2002.The spring show took place earlier this month at The Music Room was reported to be a ‘resounding success’ and ‘strengthened’ London’s position as a major fabric sourcing event, and attracted representatives from brands including House of Fraser, House of Holland, Eudon Choi and J W Anderson.
House of Fraser’s Head of Design – Contemporary, Jakki Pay commented: “the store group is looking to source a proportion of fabrics closer to home. Textile Forum not only provided the variety but also the timing was great. We will be back in October.”
“We had a fantastic show with almost as many visitors as in our traditionally larger autumn event. The atmosphere was very upbeat, with both lots of sampling and orders. We can’t wait for to celebrate our 10th anniversary in October,” said organiser Linda Laderman.
The next Textile Forum will be staged from October 17-18 at The Music Room, London.
