Smashing all previous records, the 2012 Contour

Fashion Ball raised an incredible £54,000, exceeding Chairwoman Sharon Webb’s personal target of £50,000. Looking to build on its success, The Contour Fashion Ball returns to The Savoy Hotel, London on 8 May 2013, raising funds in aid of both charities ‐ Retail Trust www.retailtrust.org.uk and Fashion and Textile Children’s Trust www.ftct.org.uk.

Making every attempt to exceed the total raised last year, it is with great pleasure The Contour Fashion Ball announce its headline sponsor for 2013, the innovative bra accessory brand Fashion Forms. www.fashionforms.com.

“I started Fashion Forms with a backless, strapless, adhesive bra in 1993. It was a resounding success and the brand soon became a favourite of major department stores and boutiques across America.” Says Ann Deal, founder and CEO of Fashion Forms. “Based on the success of the brand in the U.S., in 2008 I decided to launch in the UK with Selfridges, and our growth has been tremendous. What better way to celebrate this success than to give back to the community of which I am a part. For this reason, it is a great honour to sponsor the Contour Ball.”

Taking place on 8 May 2013, in the ethereal setting of the iconic, Savoy Hotel, located adjacent to the River Thames, the Ball will bring together the great names of the intimate apparel industry for a spectacular evening of gourmet food and dancing to live music from band Black & Gold.

With all proceeds from the evening shared between the two charities, the fundraising activities will be given an added boost by INVISTA, owner of the LYCRA® fibre brand, as it takes sponsorship of the silent auction. “INVISTA recognises the importance of the Contour Ball within the industry and we are very proud to continue our support of this worthy event. We are looking forward to another fabulous evening with our industry friends,” stated Michele Duncan, marketing manager at INVISTA. Played out live on an iPad bidding system during the Ball, the silent auction is one of the key fundraising activities on the night and promises to add to the excitement of the event.
