The world’s first and only mainstream trade show

dedicated to ethical suppliers and manufacturers in the fashion industry enters its second season with a host of seminar programmes set to build on last year’s programme.

The Ethical Fashion Source Expo (formerly Global Sourcing Marketplace), organised by the Ethical Fashion Forum (EFF), is designed for representatives of businesses of all sizes, designers, entrepreneurs and researchers who want to develop and produce fashion collections made to high ethical standards.

Traditionally, sourcing to high ethical standards has been time-consuming and resource intensive for fashion designers, retailers and brands but this event aims to cut through the barriers and to inspire visitors to explore new sourcing routes.

Through linking exemplary suppliers to trade buyers, the Expo supports sustainable livelihoods for hundreds of people in ethical supply networks and reduces impact on the environment.

This year the event will run in partnership with the RITE Group and run alongside the 4th International RITE conference, which attracts industry professionals from all over the world.

The Ethical Fashion Source Expo is also run in partnership with some of the most established global networks in the ethical, eco and fair-trade fashion fields, including the Fairtrade Foundation, the World Fair Trade Organisation, PAN UK, Organic Exchange and MADE-BY.

The EFF, which will host the Expo at Central Hall Westminster on the 6th of October, is the industry body for social and environmental sustainability in the fashion industry and represents the world’s largest and most established network of fashion professionals dedicated to sustainability, including more than 3500 members in over 100 countries.
