The Hub tradeshow location change

Fasion tradeshow the Hub is relocating to Hong Kong for its spring summer 2015 show in August.

Richard Hobbs, co-founder of the Hub commented on the decision to relocate the trade show: “There are actually very few venues in Hong Kong to put on a directional or non-traditional trade show. Most venues are geared towards large scale events and work brilliantly for those type of happenings. However, they tend to be quite corporate and bland.”

“We also found that quite a few buyers and business people in HK were not able to make it out to our last venue which was out near the airport. Even though it is readily accessible and can be reach from Central HK in around 25 minutes to many people here, who are extremely busy in this bustling city, it's quite inconvenient. Simply put we needed to be closer to town and were very happy when D2 Place came on line earlier this year.”

For its third edition, the show will take place on two floors in Lai Chi Kok, a new downtown location. The organisers are offering brands packages of up to 15 sq meters of space.

Conference sessions surrounding the event are soon to be announced. The previous second edition of the trade show took place on January 25-27 at the Asia World Expo.

The Hub will take place from 27- 28 August.
