New jewellery and watch trade show The Jewellery Show
London opens its doors today at Somerset House, where London Fashion Week takes place. The inaugural event, which runs for two days, has been organised by the same team at i2i Events who also produce the Jewellery Show which takes place each February as part of the Spring Fair at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.This trade only event, boasts an exhibitor list of more than 90 companies, including leading jewellery brands, designers, service providers and trade organisations, such as Clogau Gold, SHO Fine Jewellery, Ti Sento, Babette Wasserman, and Lovelinks by Aagaard.
The aim of the show is to provide buyers and press with their very first look at the crucial Christmas jewellery and watch ranges, spring 2013 collections as well as designs by some of the leading emerging designer talent recently graduated from colleges such as St Martins.
As well as an exhibition, the Jewellery Show London will also feature four special runway shows held daily to showcase the leading jewellery trends, and there will be a programme of seminars and panel discussions including a special interview with Annoushka Ducas, original founding partner of Links of London.
Commenting on the launch of the Jewellery Show London, Exhibition Director, Julie Driscoll said: “We have gone round Europe to find the very best designers and brands to provide UK jewellers with that all important new and innovative products that help ensure their continuing success.”
Running as part of Jewellery Week 2012, the trade-only show is located within the grounds of Somerset House and will run until June 13.
