The Shop at Bluebird taps former Head of Buying at Asos

Head of buying at Asos, Claire Miles is set to leave the online fashion retailer

to take on a new role as head buyer for The Shop at Bluebird, the premium lifestyle store owned by the Jigsaw Group.

In her new position, Miles will be in charge of helping the company' s growth across its three retail locations in London as well as expanding its online website. She will work alongside with the founder and creative director of the luxury boutique, Belle Robinson, to oversee the buying team acrossthe label's fashion, accessory, lifestyle, beauty and home offering.

Prior to joining the Shop at Bluebird, Miles was working as interim head of buyer for Asos whilst providing maternity cover. Miles has held a number of roles in the buying sector, including buying director for Internacionale and senior buyer at New Look.

Peter Ruis, Chief Executive Officer at Jigsaw Group revealed in a press release that Miles new appointment was “the next phase in the strategic plan to establish the Shop at Bluebird as an international multichannel brand, and London’s foremost luxury concept store.”
