TK Maxx appoints new men's wear purchasing manager

TJX Europe, owner of off-price retailer TK Maxx, has taken on Les Dales, former

manager of independent brands at Republic, as buying manager of its men's wear department.

Dales left his former position at Republic in March 2013, after the fashion retailer was acquired out of administration by UK's largest sporting goods retailer, Sports Direct. Prior to joining Republic, Dales held positions at home shopping retailer Joe Browns and department store Fenwick.

He is set to replace Andy Dance at TK Maxx, who was promoted to global buying director at TJX Europe. Despite recently being accused of inflating original retail prices by Channel's 4 Dispatches investigative series, TK Maxx is currently focusing on store expansion in the UK and is set to open a new store in Eastbourne in the near future.
