REPORT_ In the first half of 2013, Tod’s sales were up 3.5 percent from the first half of 2012.

The group’s net income in the first half of 2013 showed a growth of 1.8 percent compared to the first half of 2012. Consolidated sales were up 1.8 percent in the first half of 2013 compared to the first half of 2012. The group’s profit before taxes was up 2.7 percent from the first half of 2012.

Sales in the American market in the first half of 2013 were up 19.7 percent compared to the first half of 2012. The group’s EBIT in the first half of 2013 was up 4.6 percent compared to the first half of 2012 and equal to 22 percent of revenues. The incidence on sales of depreciation and amortisation was 3.9 percent, exactly the same as in the first half of 2012.

Diego Della Valle, Chairman and CEO of the group, said: “Our group’s sales and profits registered a sound growth in the second quarter of the year. Tod’s and Roger Vivier continued to achieve excellent results in the international markets. I’m confident that the second half of the year will achieve good results and I can confirm our expectations to post a further growth of revenues and profits also this year.” As of June 30, 2013, the group had 200 DOS and 79 franchised stores.
