Tom Tailor to launch new women’s line

German lifestyle brand, Tom Tailor has announced that

it is to introduce a new line of women’s day and nightwear under the name, Tom Tailor Bodywear this month. The new range has been developed closely with Düsseldorf-based company, Atlas Design GmbH, who was awarded the licensing deal and will feature four underwear and eight nightwear styles.

The new line combines Tom Tailor’s brand values of casual and authentic attire and the collection of bras, shirts and underwear features playful mille-fleur, check and striped prints. In addition to these, there will also be a basic underwear and nightwear range in a casual feminine look.

The first drop of Tom Tailor Bodywear is schedule this month, with the autumn/winter collection due to be delivered in three stages, starting in July.

This latest license extends the Tom Tailor portfolio to 20, which includes casual wear, denim and accessories for men, women, and children. Currently the brand is represented in more than 35 countries and in Q3 2011 the group generated sales of EUR 118.6 million.
