High-street fashion retailer Topshop is gearing up to open its first stand alone store in The
Netherlands.During the launch of Kate Moss's comeback collection for Topshop at the high street retailer's flagship store on Oxford Street, in London, news broke that the fashion retailer is set to open its debut store in Amsterdam this fall.
Topshop first entered the Dutch market in 2011, when the high street fashion retailer opened a shop-in-shop in concept store SPRMRKT. However, 6 months later the plug was pulled and the stand closed down, unable to compete with the increasing online demand for Topshop.
Last September marked Topshop's return to the country, which saw the high street retailer opening 150 square meters concession stand in premium department store, De Bijenkorf, along with a 149 square meter Topman stand.
An exact location for the store has yet to be announced, however according to Elle the store will open its doors this October.
