Trinity Leeds opening in March

Trinity Leeds, the only major retail and leisure development launching in the UK this year,

has announced that it is opening on March 21.

The 1 million square foot shopping centre, developed by Land Securities, has been designed to be an extension of Leeds’ best known outdoor shopping streets all housed under a sweeping glass dome roof, and is located between the streets of Briggate, Commercial Street and Albion Street.

The centre, which is forecasting more than 20 million visitors in its first year, brings together more than 100 national and international brands including the UK’s largest Superdry, Hollister, Mango, Fossil and the Victoria’s Secret’s first store outside of London. Anchor tenants include a flagship three-storey Primark, Marks & Spencer, Next and Topshop.

Commenting on the announcement Andrew Dudley, project management director for Trinity Leeds said: “We’re very excited to be announcing the opening date for Trinity and look forward to welcoming the people of Leeds to their new shopping destination in the heart of the city.”

Trinity Leeds will also house a cinema and a mix of restaurants and cafés.
