Trinity Leeds shopping center attracts over 22 million visitors

Trinity Leeds, the shopping center owned by Land Securities, announced that it had
attracted over 22 million visitors in its first year, just ahead of its one year anniversary on Friday.The 350 million pound shopping and leisure development was the only large retail destination to be openeded in the UK in 2013, and housings international brands such Victoria's Secret, Mango, Hollister, H&M and Armani Exchange.
The shopping center has also been named Retail Destination of the Year by the Oracle retail week awards. Judges noted that Trinity Leeds had "been truly transforming for Leeds town center", adding that its impact on "city visitors is fantastic".
Commenting on Trinity Leeds' successful first year, Gerald Jennings, portfolio director for Land Securities, said: "Trinity Leeds has brought a fresh and innovative take on retail and leisure to the UK market. We have welcomed more than 22 million customers and have increased footfall to the city of Leeds with our vibrant and diverse shopping, leisure and entertainment offer."
