Trinity names Richard Cohen as CEO

Trinity Limited, a subsidiary of privately-held Fung Retailing Limited has confirmed Richard Cohen will
join as Chief Executive Officer from May 22.The British retail executive has nearly 40 years’ international experience in luxury menswear brands and retailing, most recently he served as senior vice president of business development at Saks Fifth Avenue. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Ermenegildo Zegna Corp, and was a senior executive with Burberry’s wholesale and retail team in the United States.
In addition, Trinity’s group managing director, Sunny Wong Yat Ming, has been promoted to a newly created role as executive director of Fung Retailing, the private holding entity for Trinity and other Fung Group retailing interests.
“With Richard’s record of success in developing leading international menswear brands, Trinity is well placed to build on the strong foundations established by Sunny,” said Trinity chairman Dr Victor K. Fung, who is also chairman of the Fung Group. “Richard’s international brand-building expertise in luxury menswear, along with continued access to Sunny’s knowledge of China retail, is a powerful combination as we move Trinity’s ‘Global Brands, Global Networks strategy’ to the next stage.”
