Tru Line LLC has announced it has recently acquired

the Alex Maine clothing company, an apparel brand that stands by its American-made products. The holding company is currently working on a product for the golf market.

“This is a great day for Alex Maine,” said Bron Heussenstamm, Alex Maine Founder and President. “For the first two years of existence, we really wanted to prove the concept that the most comfortable pants and apparel in the world could be made in America and we could bring those jobs home. This is a big sign that yes, we can.”

Founded in 2011, Alex Maine debuted with its own store on Los Angeles’ Sunset Boulevard. Since then, the company has expanded and is currently sold in 35 locations in four countries, including The Blue Jeans Bar and Stylehaus.

Next year, the company will launch a women’s line that will include the brand’s staple pants and apparel.

From fabric to manufacturing, Alex Maine is produced entirely in the United States. “We have yet to purchase anything from overseas,” Heussenstamm said. “However, that might not always be the case. There are some things that unfortunately aren’t made in the U.S. anymore. We like finding those things so we can bring it to the public’s attention. For example, we found that there wasn’t one clothespin made in the U.S., so we passed on using it. But no matter what, Alex Maine will always be manufactured here.”

Bron Heussenstamm and Alex Maine Vice President Dan Marriner will remain in their positions following the acquisition.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be involved with Alex Maine,” said Cody Crowell, Chief Executive Officer of Tru Line, in a statement. “To see what this company has been able to achieve in just two years is incredible. We look forward to the future.”
