British heritage brand Tusting has announced that it is now available at London department

store Selfridges. Previously only available online, the leather goods label will now a house its most popular styles at the store.

The independent, family-run business, founded in 1875, known for its classic English satchel briefcases, holdalls, ladies’ handbags, accessories and traditionally styled leather furniture, will be stocking the Fisherman, Clipper and Melchbourne satchels, the Weekender and Explorer holdalls as well as the Harrold collection in deep green in Selfridges.

Director, William Tusting, said: "It is really exciting for us to be supplying our bags to Selfridges; it is such an integral part of the British retail scene and as such is a great fit for our very British product.

“Luxury English-made and designed products are making a big come-back and are very much in demand. Our customers want the very best quality and, I am proud to say, that there is no better quality than true British craftsmanship, made here in Britain.”

As well as creating their own in-house collections and supplying leather to England’s finest shoemakers including Church’s, Tusting also collaborates with many British brands such as Aston Martin and Paul Smith. Most recently they collaborated with Richard Nicoll on a range of bags for his womenswear autumn/winter 2012 collection as well as his first ever menswear collection.
