The average British woman own 19 pairs of shoes collectively worth 25 billion pounds, the Daily

Express reported.

A poll, conducted by Mode in Pelle on 1,000 women, discovered the average shoe collection is worth 881 pounds and also found that women of Birmingham wear the highest heels, with an average height of 2.7 inches.

Women who favoured heels over flats spent an average of 576 pounds a year on their shoe collection.

It was calculated that if all the shoes owned by UK women were placed next to each other they would stretch around the Earth's circumference almost three times.
