Emmanuel Ungaro's creative directors don't tend to last longer

than a season, however the French fashion house is hoping its latest appointment will stick around. After Giles Deacon and Lindsay Lohan comes Sicilian designer Fausto Puglisi.

Fuglisi will debut the house's AW13 collection at Paris Fashion Week next March.

According to Vogue.co.uk, Emmanuel Ungaro has signed a seven-year licensing agreement with Italian powerhouse Aeffe, the parent company of Alberta Ferretti, which will act as a licensee for global production and distribution.

"Emanuel Ungaro is a brand that has left a significant mark and still has a lot to say," said Massimo Ferretti, chairman of Aeffe. "Puglisi is a young talent with an international visibility - but with strong roots in our Latin world - and who will be able to turn it into a new and contemporary line."
