The Victoria and Albert museum's major summer

2013 exhibition will look at how London's Eighties club scene had a revolutionising impact on the international fashion world.

So outfits from prolific designers from John Galliano to Paul Smith and Vivienne Westwood will be displayed, where the focus will be on showcasing Eighties clublife attire and designer’s inspired by it, and will be divided into groups New Romantics, Fetish, Goth, Rave and High Camp.

The exhibition will also house accessories, a mini club-like area, as well as archive magazines that helped bring the look to a wider audience.

Club to Catwalk: London Fashion in the 1980s will be open from July 10 2013 until February 16 2014.
