Vaccarello rumoured as next Versus designer

Belgian fashion designer Anthony Vaccarello is

rumoured to be in talks with Italian fashion house Versace to be the next guest designer for its sister label Versus.

If the rumours are true, Vaccarello who is showcasing his Spring/Summer 2014 collections in Paris this week, would be following in the footsteps of London-based designer JW Anderson, who took the first guest spot after the departure of Christopher Kane.

"I'm always looking out for new talent, but I can't comment on these latest rumours," Donatella Versace told Vogue. "All I will say is that I was very lucky with Christopher Kane and I'm very proud of him."

Vaccarello, known for creating sexy body-con dresses, would suit the sexy Versus aesthetic.
