REPORT_ In 2013, Vente-Privée reportedly achieved 10,100 sales, over 65
percent, which translated to 70 million products sold, and between 50,000 to 150,000 parcels sent every day. These events, which attracted between 2.5 to 3 million daily unique visitors, enabled Vente-Privée to pass the 20 million members threshold across 8 European countries where the online platform is present.The site is also experiencing an acceleration of its activity in the United States, generating a turnover of 50 million dollars an increase of 100 percent compared to 2012. Vente-Privée was also one of the first online retailers to have launched its mobile application and continues to expand its share of revenue on the mobile channel , which now reaches 35 percent.
2013 was year of steady growth for Vente-Privée in the UK market, with a 22 percent increase in turnover on 2012. The UK remains Vente-Privée’s largest market in terms of m-commerce, with 37 percent of turnover and 41 percent of visits being generated from mobile devices.
Paris-based Vente-Privée has doubled its staff in three years, from 1000 to 2000 and lists 624 employees hired in 2013.
