These events, which attracted between 2.5 to 3 million daily unique visitors, enabled Vente-Privée to pass the 20 million members threshold across 8 European countries where the online platform is present.
The site is also experiencing an acceleration of its activity in the United States, generating a turnover of 50 million dollars an increase of 100 percent compared to 2012. Vente-Privée was also one of the first online retailers to have launched its mobile application and continues to expand its share of revenue on the mobile channel , which now reaches 35 percent.
2013 was year of steady growth for Vente-Privée in the UK market, with a 22 percent increase in turnover on 2012. The UK remains Vente-Privée’s largest market in terms of m-commerce, with 37 percent of turnover and 41 percent of visits being generated from mobile devices.
Paris-based Vente-Privée has doubled its staff in three years, from 1000 to 2000 and lists 624 employees hired in 2013.
