Victoria Beckham honoured at Bambi Awards

British designer Victoria Beckham was honoured for her

 fashion empire at the Bambi Awards in Germany this week.

The singer-turned-designer was presented with a Bambi Award in the fashion category for being one of the most “internationally recognised style icons” as well as a “highly acclaimed” fashion designer.

Beckham received the award from her friend, designer Karl Lagerfeld, and she took to Twitter to thank the Chanel creative director: "Thank u @KarlLagerfeld for your beautiful words. This award means so much to me x vb."

Other Bambi winners included Miley Cyrus in the International Pop category, Robbie Williams for Entertainment, and Bill and Melinda Gates were honoured for their philanthropy.
