Victoria's Secret opens first UK airport store

American lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret has opened its

first stand-alone UK airport store at London’s Stansted airport.

Located in the international departure lounge, the store houses it’s most popular beauty and body care products, fragrances and make-up kits, as well as an exclusive collection of branded accessories, including cosmetic cases, bags, wallets, passport covers and phone cases, as well as a range of underwear.

London Stansted Airport head of in-terminal commercial Zoe Farmer said: “Departure lounge shopping for many of our customers is part of their overall airport experience, and so we’re delighted to add one of the world’s most well-known brands, Victoria’s Secret, to the list of international stores at London Stansted.”

Victoria’s Secret also operates a small concession within a store at Heathrow Airport, but this marks the retailer’s first stand-alone store in an airport. The opening follows the launch of its first stores in the UK last year, the retailer debut at Westfield’s Stratford City last July, which was followed by its flagship on Bond Street.

The brand is continuing its UK expansion with the opening of stores in the Trinity Leeds shopping centre in March and in Manchester’s Trafford Centre later this year.
