After an absence of thirteen years, Dutch design duo
Viktor & Rolf, will once again be a fixture during Paris Haute Couture Week after being added to the schedule in July. The Chambre Syndicale de la Couture, the French governing body of couture designers, voted in favour of the fashion house returning to the couture schedule as a Correspondent Member, which means the design duo will join other foreign couturiers Giambattista Valli, Elie Saab, Valentino, Versace and Armani in the Correspondent category, which is reserved for couture designers who are not based in France. The design duo have not yet announced whether they will stage a catwalk show or a presentation during the next Paris Haute Couture Week, which will run from July 1 to July 4, however the pair are known for their elaborate showcases.
