Virtusize, the virtual fitting aid created to help online

shoppers choose the right size, announced a series of new partnerships today with a number of fashion labels in the UK. Monsoon, Acne Studios and Country Attire are the three newest brands to joined global online retailers like Asos and Nelly, in taking on the Virtusize solution.

By comparing an online garment to one the customer already owns, shoppers can virtually see a garment to garment overlay and compare the fit and size of the items. Virtusize claims that it has proven to reduce fit and size related returns of items by up to 50 percent for retailers that use its software solution.

"Virtusize’s garment-to-garment comparison is the most accurate way for our customers to understand which size to choose and how an item will fit,” stated Richard Parker, managing director at Country Attire.

Micheal Wood, head of website at Monsoon Accessorize added: “It is important for us at Monsoon Accessorize to constantly improve the shopping experience for our customers. Illustrating the size and fit of our clothes in an intuitive and simple way is an important part of it. Returns are an on-going problem for online retailers and Virtusize is helping us to tackle this challenge.”

Peder Stubert, co-founder at Virtusize wrote in a press release sent out today: “It’s good to be working with more forward-thinking retailers in the UK. We have had a great year so far. We have continued our international expansion, won a prestigious retail award and we were named as one of Europe’s leading technology companies. We look forward to building on our success and developing these relationships with our new partners in 2014."

Virtusize online fitting aid is currently available at online retailers across Europe and Asia, and thanks to fast expansion in 2013 the fitting solution is now available on 225,000 garments across 30 online international retailers.
