Virtusize strengthens its position in Europe and appoints new Chairman

Virtusize, the Swedish virtual fitting room company, today
announces its increased presence in Europe by entering Germany and Austria with three new partners – the prestige online shops Stylebop and Apropos in Germany and E35 in Austria. Virtusize is an efficient tool for online retailers to decrease size-related returns by up to 50 percent and is currently available at 18,000 garments, where it allows consumers to try out size and fit of clothes directly online.Gustaf Tunhammar, CEO and Co-Founder of Virtusize, says:
“Our new partnership with Stylebop, Apropos and E35 will allow consumers to buy more international brands using Virtusize, and remove the guesswork around size from online shopping. Germany is Europe's second largest e-commerce hub, and through our new partnerships we have taken an important step in becoming a global standard for size and fit online.”
Virtusize also announces the appointment of a new Chairman, Dag Klackenberg. Dag Klackenberg, currently CEO of the Swedish Trade Federation, was formally appointed in November 2012.
