Vittorio Missoni's body still missing one year later

Over one year ago the aircraft carrying Vittorio Missoni, son of Ottavio Missoni
the founder of the Italian luxury brand Missoni, his partner and 4 other passengers disappeared into waters by the Venezuelan coast. His remains have yet to be discovered.The plan wreckage was under covered last June and in October Italian news reports stated that the remains of five people, including Missoni's and his partner had been recovered. In November, news that the body of the pilot, co-pilot and Missoni's partner Maurizia Castiglioni had officially been identified was released.
Earlier this week the family released a statement: “the laboratory analysis on the biological findings recovered during the early submarine searches that took place the week of Oct. 15 and during the recovery of part of the cabin on Nov. 25 off Los Roques was brought solely for the identification of Maurizia Castiglioni and of the two Venezuelan pilots Hernan Jose Marchan and Juan Carlos Ferrer Milano.”
The statement added that “until today, no biological findings have been recovered" to validate the identification of the bodies of Vittorio Missoni, Guido Foresti and Elda Scalvenzi. The Missoni family continues their personal search for the remains of Vittorio Missoni and the company added that “the investigations to determine the causes and the dynamics of the accident and the identity of all passengers are still ongoing.”
