Vogue launches festival

British magazine Vogue is opening its doors to guests for the first time ever for a two-day event

of talks, performances, and debates for its Vogue Festival 2012.

The ticketed event, in association with luxury mobile phone brand Vertu, will feature: fashion films and trend talks with industry insiders; ask the expert panels; as well as the opportunity to watch acclaimed designers, photographers and models. In addition, visitors will be able to take part in makeovers and exclusive workshops.

Alexandra Shulman, Editor of British Vogue, comments “I am tremendously excited about putting together this Vogue Festival which will be the first of its kind to allow the general public to see and hear some of the world’s greatest fashion talent speaking, as well as to engage in many interesting issues that fashion and style raises.”

The Vogue Festival will take place on April 20-21 at The Royal Geographic Society in London, with a full list of speakers set to be announced in the coming weeks.
