Wacoal Eveden names creative director

Wacoal Eveden, the parent company behind lingerie brands including Freya, Fantasie and Huit, has appointed

Franceska Luther as its creative director.

Former creative director at Myla, Luther will join Wacoal Eveden at the beginning of April in the newly created role to head up the development across all its lingerie brands.

As well as previously developing the creative vision for Myla, Luther has also worked for lingerie brands including By Caprice, Jasper Conran, Myla, and Dirty Pretty Things, as well as for high street names such as Debenhams and Marks & Spencer.

Wacoal Eveden chief executive Tracy Lewis said: “We are incredibly excited that Franceska is joining us. Franceska has a great reputation in the fashion industry and much proven success in intimate apparel. She has a strong creative focus and this will be hugely valuable in furthering the development of our global Wacoal Eveden brand portfolio.”

Luther added: “I am delighted to be joining Wacoal Eveden and I am passionate about each of their fabulous brands. They have a hugely skilled team of designers and I am really looking forward to working with them and supporting them to develop the business even further.”
