Walpole, the luxury brands trade body, has appointed Jo Malone to its board with immediate effect.
Selected as a champion for “creativity, entrepreneurialism and women in business”, Malone’s appointment is to strengthen the “substantial talent and experience” of its existing board directors.
Ben Hughes, chairman of Walpole British Luxury, said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jo Malone MBE to the Walpole board. She is incredibly talented and will be a real champion for creativity, entrepreneurialism and women in business.”
Walpole British Luxury is an industry organisation that represents 160 British luxury brands such as Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Selfridges, Harrods and Jimmy Choo.
