Walpole, the luxury brands trade body that represents British brands including Burberry,
has announced the appointment of Sue O’Brien to its board of directors.In addition to her new role, O’Brien has been the group chief executive of Norman Broadbent since 2008, and she created the Human Capital Consulting Group which helps deliver and assess innovative leaders of the future.
Commenting on her appointment, O’Brien said: “It is a great honour to be able to contribute my skills and expertise to the board of Walpole British Luxury.
“With a focus on our Great British talent, I am very committed to helping the members maximise on the human capital side of their business innovation and growth.”
Ben Hughes, Chairman of the Board of Directors, added: "Sue brings a new energy and a fresh perspective to the board of Walpole British Luxury and her infectious enthusiasm will complement an already vibrant team. We are all looking forward to working with her."
