Wheretoget raises 2 million dollars

Social shopping platform, Wheretoget, which allows users to find clothes and fashion accessories photographed
in the street, has raised 2 million dollars from Alven Capital and other investors including Fabrice Grinda and Emmanuel Brunet.Wheretoget, founded in France by Aurélien Appéré and Romain Moyne, is used by more than two million users each month, with the majority located in the United States and can be accessed via its website or its mobile iOS and Android applications, which currently represents 50 percent of the traffic on the platform.
The platform also has more than 800,000 members and is already used by many fashion brands and retailers to promote their collections and currently Wheretoget generates sales for some 10,000 brands according to the company.
Romain Moyne, CEO and co-founder of Wheretoget said: "The support of Alven Capital will allow us to deploy our service to new media and to accelerate our growth internationally. We anticipate launching Wheretoget in several key countries, and the opening of an office in the United States, New York, by the end of the year.”
