Zalando launches in UK

Zalando, the popular German online shoe and fashion retailer is continuing its European expansion

by opening an online store in the UK today. This comes after successful launches in the Netherlands, Austria, France and Italy.

Founded in 2008, the retailer offers a range of womens, mens, and children’s fashion from over 600 brands ranging from popular international high street brands to sought after designer labels. The retailer was keeping quiet about any definitive plans in the UK, but a spokesperson said that Zalando UK at present would be managed by a team of native English speakers in Berlin (the central headquarters.)
