The new apps are expected to launch in May and were designed by Red Ant. Android versions will be launch later in the year.
In the new apps, customers can access the retailer apps in both online and offline mode, so that they can browse products even when they have no internet connection.
They can purchase products, find items in a nearby store or add them to a wish list. Users can also scan barcodes to find products in store or have products delivered into store through Arcadia’s click-and-collect service.
New App
Arcadia launched its first iPad app for Topshop last year, to great success.
Henry Firth, group customer experience manager, said: “Given the huge rise in customers using different devices, developing our mobile and tablet channels is a key focus for Arcadia.”
Arcadia’s range of iPhone apps totalled more than 3 million pounds in sales over the Christmas period alone.
