Banana Republic X Trina Turk

Banana Republic has announced a collaboration with California lifestyle brand Trina Turk for a limited-edition capsule collection of summer essentials. Inspired the by the multicultural mix and landscape of California, the collection will be

available in the UK, as well as online and its stores in the US, France and Japan.

"I find myself continually inspired by the cool, modern vibe of southern California and I wanted to bring that spirit to Banana Republic's summer collection," says Simon Kneen, Creative Director. "Trina's signature prints are beloved and embody the aspirational Palm Springs lifestyle, so she was a natural partner for Banana Republic's capsule collection this Summer."

The 60 piece collection will include women's fashion and accessories, including swimwear, coverups and plush beach towels. "When we began working together on the collaboration, Simon and I decided early on that the Palm Springs 'cocktails by the pool' lifestyle would be our key inspiration for the colors, styles, and prints," says Turk.

Founded in 1995, the Trina Turk brand includes women's ready-to-wear, Mr. Turk menswear, swim, home wares, handbags, and jewelry. Trina currently has seven namesake retail stores, a seasonal pop-up store in East Hampton, and one Residential store in Palm Springs.
