Beyond Retro launches in Russia

Vintage retailer Beyond Retro has announced a partnership with Russian fashion e-tailer Trendsbrands.ru to launch in Russia. The unique collection of one-off vintage pieces, spans across decades, ranging from classic forties crepe dresses to authentic

90s sportswear and will be exclusive to the site.

The retailer has also confirmed its first dedicated retail space in Russia within Moscow’s department store, Tsvetnoy. The area within the store has been designed to resemble the set up found at standalone Beyond Retro stores.

“Beyond Retro have always wanted to immerse themselves into dynamic and alternative fashion scenes.” says Steven Bethell, co-founder of Beyond Retro. “We thrive off and contribute to eclectic neighbourhoods, with stores spanning across London, Brighton, Stockholm, Gothenburg and now globally with our international e-commerce site.

“The decision to partner with Trends Brands was an easy one. Their highly reputable position on the Russian retail market was of course a factor, but our choice was largely down to the people. We admire their fashion-forward, energetic spirit, which is as likeminded as the Beyond Retro team. We see ourselves very suited to the ethos of Trends Brands and cannot wait to see what the future holds in this partnership.”

Beyond Retro currently has nine stores across the UK and Sweden, including the international e-commerce site, these debuts mark the brands first ventures into the Russian marketplace.
