The British Fashion Council has announced that five of London’s cutting edge milliners will be showcasing as part of Headonism, its platform curated by Stephen Jones that celebrates and supports emerging milliners at London Fashion Week.

For
autumn/winter 2013, the scheme has added three new designers Emma Yeo, Aurora and Moody and Farrell, who will be joining returning designers Pier Atkinson and William Chambers. Each will display their AW13 collections as part of a curated installation within The Exhibition at Somerset House.

British Fashion Council chief executive, Caroline Rush said: “Headonism is the only designer showcasing platform for emerging milliners and an essential initiative to support emerging millinery talent. We have some of the most creative and innovative designers here in London and we’re delighted to be supporting three new milliners this season.”

Launched in 2009, Headonism was introduced during the BFC’s 25th year celebrations by Mayor of London Boris Johnson. Now the scheme is supported by Royal Ascot, and showcases bi-annually at London Fashion Week as well as being on show at Royal Ascot’s race meeting.
