REPORT_ The Buckle has announced that its net sales for the 52-week fiscal year ended February 1, 2014 increased 0.4 percent to 1.128 billion dollars from net sales of 1.124 billion dollars for the 53-week fiscal year ended February 2, 2013. Comparable store net sales for the

52-week period ended February 1, 2014 were flat in comparison to the same period last year. Online sales increased 5.3 percent to 89 million dollars.


Net

income for the fiscal quarter ended February 1, 2014 was 59.3 million dollars, or 1.24 dollars per share or 1.23 dollars per share on a diluted basis. Net income for the fiscal year February 1, 2014 was 162.6 million dollars, or 3.41 dollars per share or 3.39 dollars per share on a diluted basis.

Net sales for the 13-week fiscal quarter ended February 1, 2014 decreased 6.0 percent to 339 million dollars from net sales of 360.6 million dollars for the prior year 14-week fiscal quarter ended February 2, 2013. Comparable store net sales for the 13-week period ended February 1, 2014 decreased 2.8 percent. Online sales increased 0.4 percent.
