The Chanel Metiers d'Art show, which took place last month in Scotland, was established to showcase the work of the ten artisan ateliers under the Chanel-owned Paraffection umbrella, which aims to preserve and promote the heritage, craft and manufacturing skills of fashion artisan workshops. In 2012, Barrie, a Scottish knitwear manufacturer was added to the collective.
