For over 40 years, photographer Chris Moore, has been the go to man for all front line fashion - capturing catwalks from every angle as well as uncovered, obscure backstage moments. Having, intially, started working in editorial alongside the likes
of Cecil Beaton, Moore first took to the catwalk in 1967 at the Paris Couture shows.
Now
an exhibition to celebrate the work of Moore's incisive images has opened at London's King Place Gallery. From catwalk images to the infamous catwalking.com site he launched, the retrospective will feature some of the UK's foremost current and past designers, with particular celebration on the UK's creative industry.
"Central Saint Martins is a place synonymous with London fashion and its graduates have been driving fashion all over the world for as long as I have been covering the scene," says Moore.
But can Mr Moore pinpoint his most memorable moment so far? "It would be hard to select my favourite show, but Alexander McQueen and Hussein Chalayan have been amongst my favourites over the years" he says.
