British heritage menswear label Cro’Jack has opened its first retail store in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials on Monmouth Street, London. The long-term pop-up, which will be open until March 31, 2013, houses its full range of products including shirts,

knitwear and outerwear, as well as accessories and jeans for the first time.

The
brainchild of Dean Batty and Daljit Mehat, Cro’Jack was created with the premise of supplying first-class clothing manufactured in the UK, ensuring a “strong and authentic British image”, which it achieves through producing all of its outerwear in its own factory in the Midlands, and sourcing local factories to produce its other products such as knitwear, bags, trousers and jeans.

The label is also known for using famous British fabrics such as Ventile, a fabric first developed during wartime England, British-based Mallalieus 100% Pure New Wool, and the brand has worked closely with British Millerain to develop a range of washable wax cottons.

Commenting on the debut store, creative director Batty said: “We feel the location for our first store couldn’t be better as Seven Dials has a lovely village feel in the middle of a metropolis – perfectly encapsulating our brand.”

Seven Dials, Covent Garden’s is home to almost two-thirds of ‘independents’ comprising of boutiques, heritage brands, vintage stores and indulgent beauty and grooming salons. The Cro’Jack store sits alongside other menswear brands including Albam and Wolsey on Monmouth Street.
