Dawn Capital puts six million dollars into Miinto

Institutional investors at Dawn Capital are betting for online retail. Their last bid is on the Danish fashion e-tailer Miinto, which has just secured six million dollars in Series A investment from Dawn Capital. As explained by executives

at Miinto, the cash will be used to accelerate the company´s growth through of the further investment in proprietary, new markets and technology. Norman Fiore, Managing Partner at Dawn Capital will join the board.

Larsen CEO of Miinto said; “The agreement with Dawn prompts an even more aggressive development of our activities worldwide than initially contemplated, and we are very to sprint faster and take advantage of the current market opportunities.”

Miinto currently operates in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, USA, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Ireland and, according to their last records; they are exceeding fifty million euros in turnover. In the same line, Morten Larsen CEO of Miinto says the company has over 1,600 fashion buyers with expertise from the boutiques in which they “always have the stock that people want.”

Dawn Capital´s previous investments were Wonga.com, Mimecast and previously Virgin Media, Advertising.com, Verisign and Self Trade.
